In most parts of Africa including Zanzibar medical care and hygiene is inadequate. Especially in the small villages and settlements scattered across the island, fresh water wells and dispensaries are an essential need.

Dr. Haroun Ally Niva is our new medical contact in Nungwi. We met him in January 2009 on site. After some very positive experiences of his medical skills and his engagement for the village, we decided to support him and his clinic ALMANNA especially.
