Donations

During the last years we received many donations in kind for the school and the hospital in Nungwi as well as for the orphanage in Stonetown.

After shipping three containers to Zanzibar within the last two years, we have decided to stop such transports from Switzerland for the moment. Many of the needed goods can be purchased in Tanzania/Zanzibar, hence we will buy the goods for specially selected projects from your donations primary in the country.

Hospitals

For the local hospitals (they hardly can be called so) the following medical equipments are urgently needed:

  • First Aid Kits
  • Gowns/ Dressings/ Band-aids/ Gauze
  • Syringes/ Needles
  • Microscope (Olympus)
  • Ultrasonic devices
  • Sterilizers

Orphanage

The orphanage in Stone Town is in need of clothes for babies and children up to age 16, as well as sandals, sneakers, pillows and sheets.

In the schools it lacks on

  • Pencils and pens
  • Books in English (educational books, children books, literature)

For the nursery school wooden / pedagogical toys are basic

For donations from CHF 50 and up, we will issue a donation cerificate for your taxes in January of the following year. Naturally also smaller amounts are more than welcome - every penny counts.
